Struggling to Get a VA Increase? The Problem Might Be Your Records

If you have been fighting for a VA increase and getting nowhere, the problem might not be your condition. It might be your records.

The VA does not rate what you feel. It rates what you can show. A veteran who walks in with a vague memory of bad days loses to the veteran who walks in with dates, patterns, and functional impact written down. Same injuries. Different paperwork. Different outcome.

That is the whole reason we built the VA Disability Claim Logbook and C&P Journal System. Not as another motivational product. As a discipline. A place to track your symptoms the way you would track anything that actually mattered, on a schedule, honestly, over time.

Why Organization Wins Claims

An increase is not won in the exam room. It is won in the weeks and months before it, in the record you built. Frequency drives ratings, so you need to show how often. Severity drives ratings, so you need your worst days documented, not your average ones. And functional impact, what the condition stops you from doing, is what a rating is actually built on.

Your representative can only argue what you can document. Your appeal only stands on what is written down. When it is all in your head, it is gone the moment the pressure is on. When it is on paper with dates, it is evidence.

Built and Field-Tested by Veterans Who Have Done It

This was not built by a marketing team. It was built by an Iraq War veteran and his wife, both rated 100 percent permanent and total, who have fought the VA rating system themselves. We have sat in the exam rooms, filed the claims, and battled the ratings firsthand. This system is what we wish we had the first time around.

It is also field-tested beyond our own household. We put it in the hands of other veterans before it ever went public. One of them used it and went on to secure a rating increase. We are gathering more of those stories directly, with permission, and will share them here as they come in.

Stay Organized, Stay in the Fight

The veterans who win increases are rarely the ones who hurt the most. They are the ones who stayed consistent, kept the record, and could prove the pattern when it counted. Discipline off the battlefield looks like this: a few honest entries, kept up over time, until the paperwork finally says what your body has been saying all along.

You can get the logbook as an instant digital download, or as a paperback on Amazon if you would rather write by hand. There is more on how the full system works on our VA claim journal page.

And do not do it alone. Work with a VA-accredited representative or a Veterans Service Officer. Their help is free, and a documented claim paired with a good rep is a far stronger position than either one by itself.

Get organized. Stay honest. Build the record the increase requires.
